BrightonSEO started, like many great ideas, as a conversation in a pub. Kelvin Newman and other SEO specialists said, “Why do not we have a few people who work in SEO, organize a few conversations and give people who work in the industry a chance to meet.” The idea was to share ideas and talk about all the interesting things that we can not really talk to anyone outside the industry, for fear of falling asleep.
A word came out and more people appeared than expected.
So the next time I booked a larger room … there were more and more people again. In just a few years BrightonSEO has become one of the most popular and respected conferences in the field of natural search in the UK. Our last event took place for 3,500 people, tickets were sold out in less than 13 minutes. Our goal has always been to emphasize that the city by the sea is the home of SEO talent and provides the “Brightonian” spin at the marketing conference on the search network and network event. Although the event is now very different from the first meeting in the pub, many are still the same.
It’s a chance for SEO to meet, learn and do your job a little better.
This is not an event that tells you “content is king” or “do not translate your site, locate it” and all these other conference cliches. It is at your fingertips. It is detailed and practical. Not only will it be an opportunity to participate in a conference involving sessions from the best in the UK, but also from the world’s top search engine sellers, but it does not cost you a cent. This is not a bad deal.
